[Comprehensive] Com2uS operating profit 87%↓… North American Market 'Jeong Jojun'

[ Park Yeo-jin reporter] Com2uS has a sharp drop in operating profit in the third quarter of this year. This is due to the surge in operating costs in 3Q. The company is looking forward to the performance of the anticipated work of summers War: Chronicle.

Comes (CEO Song Jae-won, Lee Johan) announced on the 11th that it recorded sales of krw 186.2 billion, operating profit of 1.9 billion won, and net profit of 21.9 billion won in the third quarter of this year.

Operating profit decreased 87% YoY and net profit fell 63%. Compared to the previous quarter, sales and operating profit decreased by 3% and 57%, respectively, and net profit rose 47%.

Revenue grew 64% year-on-year. Summers War: Chronicle (Chronicle), which was launched in Korea in August, has achieved a 191%increase in domestic sales, while North America (24%) and Europe (15%) also recorded double-digit sales growth.

Comes was looking forward to Chronicle's achievements that entered North America on the 10th (Korea time). Lee Johan said, We believe that the North American version is more than 500 million won in sales. We are focusing on North America from pre-booking, and we expect marketing to be around 5 billion ~ 10 billion won.

Comes plans to launch 'Fishing God: Crew' based on the main net PLA (PLA) by the first quarter of next year. Com2 Bus Meta Bus Office will also start the company's in-house test this month and start the official service at the same time.

Meanwhile, the parent company Comes Holdings (CEO Lee Jong-un) recorded three consecutive quarters. Comes Holdings announced that it recorded sales of krw 32.2 billion, operating loss of KRW 600 million, and net loss of KRW 7.4 billion in the third quarter of this year.

Sales decreased 29% year-on-year, and operating profit and net profit decreased 22.2 billion won and 24.6 billion won, respectively. Revenue increased 11% compared to the previous quarter. Operating losses and net losses were reduced by 60.4% and 76%, respectively.

The company explained that the improvement of operating losses was due to the launch of new global launches such as Working Dead: All Stars and MLB Perfect Innings: Ultimate.

There are four new works scheduled for the first half of next year, including World of Genoa, MMORPG, and 'Eternal Three Kingdoms', Collective RPG 'Creature' and 'Alchemist'.

Lee Jong-un, CEO of Comes Holdings, said, It is not a direct publishing of Comes Holdings, but a number of games from various companies such as global partners, Trio, Unless Face, and Meta World will be on board on XPLA-based, and a number of games will be released next year.
