Hot Wheels Unleashed: Design Battle

Mattel and Milestone today start the Hot Wheels Unleashed Design Battle. Exclusively for the global community of the Arcade racing game of the same name will be sought in a competition the best vehicle book for the Hot Wheels classic Rodger Dodger.

For over 50 years, Hot Wheel has been going to the boundaries of automotive performance and vehicle design — and beyond. Thus, designers and designers are celebrated whose tireless passion, unlimited visions and endless hours of muscle power promote the development of the perfect automobile.

Today Hot Wheel honors this inventive spirit in digital form — with the start of the Design Battle. The competition runs from 14 January 2022 to February 14, 2022. The participants design a paint for the Hot Wheels Rodger Dodger Die-Cast model directly in the game with the paint editor.

The victorious Rodger Dodger is turned into a real Hot Wheels toy (scale 1:64) and be available worldwide in December 2022. The winning look is determined by a special jury: World-class designers from Mattel choose the winner:

To stimulate the creativity of the community, the international artists van Norton Design and Skunk have designed their own unique Rodger Dodger vehicles for the game.

Van Norton Design , the creative twin duo from Italy, creates brands and icons of pop culture on unique, colorful and geometric way new. Their art is known thanks to amazing collaborations and prestigious exhibitions around the world.
