GTA Online: Change license plate - How to create your own license plate

Change license plate with fruit app

This is how it works: To change the license plate in GTA 5 / online, you have to load an app on your smartphone. This does not mean the smartphone in the game, but your own mobile device (tablet is also). The FRUIT app is available for Android and iOS.

After downloading and installation you have to connect the app to your social club account. This knows the app at which account the number plates should be customized. So uses the data with which you log in to GTA online.

This is the problem: The ratings of the fruit app are currently 1.6 out of 5 stars at over 400,000 reviews in the Google Play Store (as of 30 November 2021). Reason for the maiden reviews is the performance of the app. For newer operating systems, the FRUIT app crashes directly to the load. Other, older devices can start the app, but can not load the menu of LS Customs — even then follows a crash.

We tried that and can confirm the problems. The last update of the app took place on 29.11.2019.
